EDITORIAL INTERN – for credit
On the lower end, intern will be responsible for administrative tasks,
such as interview transcriptions, and proofreading, but most routine
responsibilities will engage him/her in challenging and productive assignments
such as: development of editorial pieces from concept to completion
or finessing submitted articles as needed, content research, online
content updates (website and Facebook pages), brainstorming for new
ideas, composition & electronic distribution of press releases,
contribution in development of marketing/promotional pieces for RedLime
(conceptual & implementation) in collaboration with design team.
Intern can work virtually from their location.
Skills:
• excellent writing skills, proficiency with PCs or Macs
• common sense, passion for art and/or publishing, reliability
• familiarity with Facebook is highly desired
DESIGN INTERN – for credit
Magazine layout and design, creative development of sponsored
ads, research for art & artists, online content updates (website
and Facebook pages), brainstorming, assist in development of marketing/promotional
pieces for RedLime (conceptual & implementation) in collaboration
with editorial team.
Intern can work virtually from their location.
Skills:
• excellent design skills, proficiency with PCs or Macs
• Photoshop is a must, Dreamweaver
• common sense, passion for art and/or publishing, reliability
• familiarity with Facebook and web design
