About RedLime
art magazine for real
people
Whether it’s fine art, advertising, marketing, academic art, decorative
art, art in business, or scientific research, they all have a place at RedLime.
We feel a gap exists between the academic and the everyday conception of
art. A disconnect between the people of these two worlds. Our hope is to
bring them closer, because we feel there is something to be gained from the
interaction of the two.
During our conception, we’ve been interviewing artists, writers, copywriters,
creatives, professionals that have something to say in relation to art, its
applications and the minds behind it. To make a long story short, we’ve
been chatting with a lot of interesting people gathering content and this
is just the beginning. Not all material is in this first issue. We are starting
with a beta version, a compilation of content that weaves in and out of art
in the everyday, the public and the academic.
Even though we will touch on a variety of topics, some of which are “artsy”,
one of our main goals is not to be elitist. We want our content to be unique
and spicy, bringing various art-related stimuli into your routine, which
we hope will open your senses and thought to art, keeping one thing in mind:
art is not just for those who make it.
